After selling logging equipment and working with other loggers for several years Mark decided to begin his own logging company.  With a small crew and plenty of overtime, Roberts Timber Company began to grow and expand. 

 

Our company has 27 years of experience and our in-woods crew has over 80 years of combined experience. We have recently added Dane Bass to our logging crew.  Dane has a forestry degree and many contacts in the logging industry.

 

Roberts Timber Company is a one stop shop. We buy all of our own wood and sell directly to the mills, therefore eliminating the middle man and putting more profit in our customers’ pocket. When road construction or maintenance is needed, we can provide that service in a timely manner so the logging production is not hindered.

 

At times there is a need to put down gravel to maintain the integrity of the road during and after the trucks ride on the road.  We have several full time dump trucks in our fleet for this service.  We also have grinders and other equipment to handle post logging clean up.

 

All of our equipment is less than ten years old and well maintained. We service our equipment on a regular basis so that it runs more efficiently and saves on down time. Our log trucks and trailers are also maintained in the same manor.
